When we rest, we start to feel in rhythm again.

What is yoga nidra?

Yoga nidra - known as yogic sleep - is a gentle, ancient meditation practice that guides you from your busy outer world to a deep state of resting awareness. It feels like healing nectar for your entire being.

Practicing yoga nidra regularly:

  • soothes and balances the nervous system

  • relieves tension and stress

  • shifts brain waves into a nourishing state of regeneration

  • restores peace and rejuvenation to the whole body

  • awakens creativity & increases clarity

  • brings you back home to your wisdom, insight, intuition

How do you do it?

The beautiful thing about yoga nidra is that there is nothing “to do” but simply rest.

Impossible to do wrong; everyone can do it.

You usually practice yoga nidra lying down on your back. However, you can also practice yoga nidra sitting up, reclining in a chair, or lying on your side...or really in any position that is comfortable for you. Your comfort is Queen in yoga nidra.

During yoga nidra, you are guided to move from your busy outer world into your inner world and a more rested state of being.

What is Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra?

The Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra method is designed specifically for individuals who identify as women.  It combines guided meditation, self-discovery, and other techniques to help women connect to their wisdom and reclaim rest.

Inviting women to experience deep rest helps us feel safe in our bodies and gives us the space to connect with our inner knowing and wisdom.

The three-phase Daring to Rest method supports you to get deep rest on all levels:

  • Rest Phase: meeting physical exhaustion & connecting to your body

  • Release Phase: meeting mental and emotional exhaustion & claiming your voice

  • Rise Phase: meeting life purpose exhaustion & taking embodied action

We are key agents of change when we are well-rested.

Daring to Rest teaches you how to rest deeply, meet yourself lovingly and unconditionally, and rise up rooted and able to manage challenges - to live life - with more ease.

When you register for one of my online retreats or self-care experiences, you will always receive a Getting Started Guide to Daring to Rest yoga nidra.
